I am a faculty member of Mathematics in Department of Basic Science and Humanities. I did B.Sc(Honours) in Mathematics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 2010 and M.Sc. in Pure mathematics from The University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad in 2012. Then I joined Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies as an Assistant Professor and served there till June 2019. I have qualified NET(2013,2018), GATE(2015), NBHM Ph.D.(2016). Then I completed my Ph.D. from The University of Burdwan, Burdwan in 2025. My research primarily revolves around the interface of Topology, Measure Theory and Analysis. More specifically, I am interested in establishing the connection between density and density type topologies and summability theory over the space of reals. I have published several research papers in international journal of well repute. Along with my research I love to teach my students.

Teaching philosophy
My primary aim in teaching is to create a situation where students become enthusiastic about comprehending the subject matter on their own and consequently deeply integrate new content. In attempt to achieve this I use a variety of methods such as One lecture one concept, learning by doing, board work. My approach grows out of three interlinking strands: my personal experience with learning and learners; study of the experiences of others; and experimentation.
